Our Curriculum - Assessment & Reporting

Assessment practices at St Anthony’s involve:

  • assessment for learning — enabling teachers to use information about children’s progress to inform their learning
  • assessment as learning — enabling children to reflect on and monitor their own progress to inform their future learning goals
  • assessment of learning — assisting teachers to use evidence of children’s learning to assess achievement against goals and standards

The National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) continues annually with students in Years 3 and 5 being assessed using common national tests in Reading, Writing, Language Conventions and Numeracy.
